        What is Greek Getaway?
It's hard to describe everything that happens when you spend a weekend at Greek Getaway. When you gather fraternity and sorority members from across the state a few things are bound to happen. A dance party is usually one of them. Beyond that, you might not expect to find these Greeks engaging in honest and profound questions about faith in the Greek system but Greek Getaway is a weekend that brings these experiences together.

        What's going to happen?
The weekend will be filled with a variety of activities: Worship, a Speaker, Seminars, Small Group Discussions, Free Time, Great Food, Capture the Flag, and Great Times with New and Old Friends!

        Seminars

At Greek Getaway, you'll have the opportunity to attend a Seminar. There are three different seminars:

Connect: Maybe you’ve heard about Christianity but aren’t really sure what it all actually means. Perhaps you’ve even been to church a few times but haven’t really had your questions answered. You might actually be a person who does want to follow Jesus but have just had a hard time in college and the Greek System connecting to God. Maybe you know a lot about God, but just aren’t experiencing Him. This is the concentration for you. We are going to talk about the basics of what it means to be a Christian and follow Jesus in this world and the Greek system. By the end of this weekend you are going to know how to connect with God and experience presence through Bible Study, prayer, and authentic community.

Thrive: For Christians, life in the Greek system presents constant challenges and temptations. What if it was possible to do more than just survive amidst these situations? Jesus came that we might have life abundantly. The Thrive concentration tackles the issues greeks face and provides timeless tools to thrive amidst all situations in your house. Rather than focusing on merely the surface of these issues, Thrive shows how through letting God produce internal change, external changes will result.

Lead: Your brothers and sisters might not come to a Church service or go to a campus minstry meeting, but what if a bible study was in their very own house? The Lead concentration is all about equipping followers of Christ in fraternities and sororities with the tools to lead bible studies in their Greek houses and on campus. Hear from speakers who have been through the challenges of house ministry, learn the philosophy of Greek IV’s ministry and get trained as a leader on your campus.
